Infinite Warfare Weapons: Full List of All Guns in IW

Weapons play a major role in all Call of Duty games. Why? Well, because the series focuses so much on multiplayer. Like most FPS titles, weapon variety and balance is a key aspect in keeping online multiplayer matches fun and fair. Today we’re going to talk about the weapons that are found in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Each weapon category features several different weapons that players will get a chance to use in multiplayer. Further down the page we will also discuss the guns that appear only in campaign or zombies modes.

Below we reveal all Infinite Warfare weapons and break them down by type.

Assault Rifles

Assault rifles are, technically speaking, supposed to be some of the most versatile guns around. They typically deal moderate amounts of damage, are effective in close to medium range encounters, and are usually one of the most heavily favored weapon types in Call of Duty games.

Here are the assault rifles available in Infinite Warfare:

  • NV-4
  • R3K
  • KBAR-32
  • Type-2
  • Volk

Infinite Warfare Guns

SMGs

Submachine guns, often abbreviated as SMGs, are smaller, more mobile weapons than assault rifles. They are typically designed almost exclusively for close quarters combat. Some SMGs, however, are also viable in mid-range engagements.

In general, SMGs are best suited for smaller maps or maps where a lot of the action takes place in tight corridors and spaces. SMGs do low to moderate damage, usually have a decent firing rate, and are the preferred weapons of rushers.

These are the SMGs you’ll find in IW:

  • ERAD
  • FHR40
  • Karma-45
  • RPR Evo
  • HVR

SMGs are pretty strong in this game. Players with decent aim can rack up tons of kills using SMGs in Infinite Warfare, partly thanks to the fact that a lot of the maps have smaller designs.

Sniper Rifles

Snipers are technically designed to be used exclusively for longer distances. As we all know, though, that doesn’t usually deter people from using them in short to medium ranges in Call of Duty due to the ever popular tactic of quickscoping.

Sniper rifles deal a ton of damage, have high accuracy (in most cases), and are ideal for picking enemies off from afar. If you’re good at quickscoping, however, a sniper can also be extremely lethal in practically any engagement.

These are the snipers we know exist in Infinite Warfare:

  • EBR-800
  • KBS Longbow
  • DMR-1
  • Widowmaker

Shotguns

Shotguns are best for very close-range combat. They tend to blast out buckshot or slugs, deal moderate to high damage, and are insanely good for smaller maps or taking down enemies by surprise from around corners, in doorways, and other related areas.

Many gamers look down upon those that utilize shotguns due to the perceived notion that using this type of weapon generally requires little to no skill. Most can be fired from the hip (basically without aiming) and still be accurate and powerful enough to take down a player fast.

LMGs

Light-machine guns, often abbreviate to LMGs, are heavy-duty weapons that have limited mobility, higher damage output, and varying accuracy. While these guns usually pack quite a punch, they also make the player move more sluggishly, have slower ADS (aiming down sights) times, and require more time to reload.

Use of these weapons varies from player to player. Some gamers have managed to use LMGs such as the QBB from Black Ops 2 effectively while running around the map in close to mid-range firefights. Oftentimes, though, players that use LMGs are found camping in buildings, corners, or other areas – waiting for enemies to come around to cut down.

Pistols

Pistols are primarily designed to be used as a secondary weapon. They are often a last-resort whenever your primary gun runs out of ammunition. Nevertheless, some pistols in past Call of Duty games have proven to be strong enough to utilize on their own such as the Desert Eagle in CoD 4, the TAC-45 and B23R from Black Ops 2, or the RK5 in Black Ops 3.

In most cases, though, most players very rarely utilize these sidearms. Snipers are probably the most likely type of player to use pistols as they need something to swap to when their ammo runs low or when enemies approach them too closely.

Other

In many Call of Duty games there are other weapons that don’t fall into the traditional categories listed above. Examples include the Crossbow or Ballistic Knife found in Black Ops 2, the numerous melee weapons in BO3, and so on.

Concluding Thoughts

As you can see, the list is rather empty at the moment. This is due to the fact that there is little information available for Infinite Warfare at this time.

As soon as a leak happens or we’re given an official list of weapons from Infinity Ward, we will update this page. For now, the guns mentioned above are the only ones known to exist. We will also be doing full overviews and reviews for every weapon in IW when the information is available to us.

Hold tight – new info is likely to come sooner rather than later. We’re less than 3 months away from the release of the game, so expect more updates in the very near future!

The above is irrelevant now! We have updated the weapons list to include ALL guns in the game and are currently reviewing each one individually.
